3. Migrate!
3.1 Check branches
If there isn't yet support in the migration script for projects with
multiple branches, then you will want to check that only the master
branch has bugs filed against it. To make your script populate a file
with a list of all branches used, simply add this somewhere in
`LaunchpadWriter.write_bug()`:
with open('branches', 'a') as f:
for task in bug.bug_tasks:
f.write('%s\n' % task.target_link)
Once your migration has run, this will leave a "branches" file in the
current directory, and you can find useful information on branches by
doing
cat branches | grep $TEST_PROJECT | sort | uniq
where `$TEST_PROJECT` is the name of the project you are testing in
Launchpad. If there are results other than
https://api.launchpad.net/1.0/$TEST_PROJECT
or maybe
https://api.launchpad.net/1.0/python-$TEST_PROJECTclient
then the migration test has FAILED.
The next step is to actually run the migration script. You can do
this with the following command:
You can do this with the following command:
tox -e venv "storyboard-migrate
--config-file etc/storyboard.conf
