Ceph: Remove unnecessary convert_str() calls

These are no longer needed.

This is achieved by assuming that fields like
Volume.name, Snapshot.name, and Snapshot.volume_name
are already Unicode strings in our objects.

Also removes some Python 2 compat cruft.
