Patch Set 2:

Carlos, the purpose of this BP is to account the API/object model change of VIPs/Listeners and Pools only. So the scope is pretty much limited.
SSL stuff is described by separate blueprint as well as 'operator concerns'. The good thing about proposed model/API is that it doesn't require API and object redesign to add functionality that you've listed.

And so far there were no better proposals.
