InventoryList._get_all_by_resource_provider was indicating models to use in a query by db_api.models.[model] which meant that the models that were being used were those designed for the main/cell database, not the api database as intended. Since there are duplicates of many of the resource provider related models between sqlalchemy/models.py and sqlalchemy/api_models.py this wasn't making any difference in testing: the context controls the database being used not the models. However, since at some point we might clear up the orphaned models it is best to correct this now to avoid confusion later. OpenStack Nova provides a cloud computing fabric controller, supporting a wide variety of virtualization technologies, including KVM, Xen, LXC, VMware, and more. In addition to its native API, it includes compatibility with the commonly encountered Amazon EC2 and S3 APIs.

Nova primarily consists of a set of Python daemons, though it requires and integrates with a number of native system components for databases, messaging and virtualization capabilities.
