Command prompts ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ .. code-block:: console $ command Any user, including the ``root`` user, can run commands that are prefixed with the ``$`` prompt. .. code-block:: console # command The ``root`` user must run commands that are prefixed with the ``#`` prompt.
