Intel Driver Versions
Introduction
In Release only the out-of-tree versions of the Intel
ice i40e, and iavf drivers are
supported. Switching between in-tree and out-of-tree driver versions are
not supported.
The out_of_tree_drivers service parameter and the out-of-tree-drivers
boot parameter are deprecated and should not be modified to switch to
in-tree driver versions. The values will be ignored, and the system will
always use the out-of-tree versions of the Intel ice,
i40e, and iavf drivers.
