As agreed upon within Edge-Computing meetings, this specification proposes an additional Identity solution for the Edge Reference Architecture; i.e. a 'Synchronized Keystone' solution. This solution addresses Edge-Computing Use Cases where full autonomy is required on network connectivity loss but without the overhead of running an Identity Provider (IDP) presence at each Edge Cloud site.
