Sriram Madapusi Vasudevan 79b390b50c fix: reduce memory consumption on poppy-workers ...

- Memoize loading of drivers, such as the storage controller and the dns
  controller

- Cache cassandra connections, so that we dont open and close
  connections on successful operations.
