We want to test the version of Gerrit we just upgraded to (3.11) as well as prepare for upgrading to versions like 3.12 and 3.13 and beyond. To this end we add test jobs to test against Gerrit latest, 3.11, 3.12, and 3.13. Currently the latest test pulls from our gerrit image mirror in quay as that is the only version there but we can update the jobs to pull from quay if we add more tags to the quay mirror. Writing a patch
We ask that all code submissions be pep8 and pyflakes clean. The
easiest way to do that is to run nox before submitting code
for review in Gerrit. It will run pep8 and
pyflakes in the same manner as the automated test suite
that will run on proposed patchsets.
Installing without setup.py
Then install the required python packages using pip:
$ sudo pip install gerritlib
