This external documentation for pyVmomi was generated using Googly Docs
(aka Google Standard Documentation) which renders very cleanly in
GitHub. Internal documentation for a class should be done in Sphinx
format because tools like pyCharm and Eclipse can use that documentation
as a hint for code completion.

Note: External docs as Googly Docs, internal docs as Sphinx.

vim.vm.VmImportSpec

A VmImportSpec is used by ResourcePool.importVApp when importing entities.It provides all information needed to import a VirtualMachine . So far, this coincides with VirtualMachineConfigSpec .A VmImportSpec can be contained in a VirtualAppImportSpec as part of the ImportSpec for an entity.See also ImportSpec .

Attributes:

configSpec (vim.vm.ConfigSpec):

Configuration for the virtual machine.

resPoolEntity (vim.ResourcePool, optional):

If specified, this resource pool will be used as the parent resource pool and the virtual machine will be made a linked child to the parent vApp. This field is ignored for the root node in an ImportSpec tree.
