This comparator is buggy, and orders differently on python 3.13
$ python3.14 ./test.py
[('/', 'fake_name'), ('/var/log', 'fake_log'), ('/boot', 'fake_boot'), ('/var', 'fake_name')]
$ python3.10 ./test.py
[('/', 'fake_name'), ('/var', 'fake_name'), ('/var/log', 'fake_log'), ('/boot', 'fake_boot')]
It is saying that if it's not equal, or doesn't start with the same
prefix, it is bigger. Hence "/boot > /var" but also "/var > /boot"
which confuses things.
I really think what we want here is to ensure that parents mount
before children. So string comparision is fine? "/var < /var/log <
/var/log/foo"?
Replace it with that

Image building tools for OpenStack
diskimage-builder is a flexible suite of components for
building a wide-range of disk images, filesystem images and ramdisk
images for use with OpenStack.
This repository has the core functionality for building such images, both virtual and bare metal. Images are composed using elements; while fundamental elements are provided here, individual projects have the flexibility to customise the image build with their own elements.
For example:
$ DIB_RELEASE=bionic disk-image-create -o ubuntu-bionic.qcow2 vm ubuntu
will create a bootable Ubuntu Bionic based qcow2
image.
diskimage-builder is useful to anyone looking to produce
customised images for deployment into clouds. They are used extensively
to build images for testing OpenStack itself, particularly with nodepool. Platforms
supported include AlmaLinux, CentOS Stream, Debian, Fedora, RHEL, Rocky
Linux and Ubuntu.
