The Cinder volume 'attachments' and 'attachments_list' attributes are dynamically built lists and must be queried from the Cinder API on each request. There are several factors that may change the contents of this list that are unknown to Heat. Caching should be prevented for these attributes. Heat
Heat is a service to orchestrate multiple composite cloud applications using templates, through both an OpenStack-native REST API and a CloudFormation-compatible Query API.
Why heat? It makes the clouds rise and keeps them there.
