Manage Compute services

You can enable and disable Compute services. The following examples disable and enable the nova-compute service.

  1. List the Compute services:

    $ openstack compute service list

  2. Disable a nova service:

    $ openstack compute service set --disable --disable-reason trial log nova nova-compute

  3. Check the service list:
