Verify operation

Verify operation of the Block Storage service.

Note

Perform these commands on the controller node.

1. Source the admin credentials to gain access to admin-only CLI commands:

   $ . admin-openrc

2. List service components to verify successful launch of each process:

   $ cinder service-list

   Note

   The cinder-backup service only appears if you cinder-backup-install.
