Design changes [1] from the Dublin PTG prompted some rewording of the docstring for ComputeDriver.update_provider_tree. And to avoid that docstring becoming too enormous, relevant chunks of the spec [2] are copied to a new devref document which is linked from that docstring. In the unfortunate event that bugs are discovered, they should be reported to the appropriate bug tracker. If you obtained the software from a 3rd party operating system vendor, it is often wise to use their own bug tracker for reporting problems.
