Nemesis is a file intelligence API which allows querying of files by
hash and if the file is known intellig ence about said file is returned
such as a Malware likelyness score, the file type and so on. If the file
is not known the user is requested to submit the file to the API where a
number of scalable background workers process the file looking at PE
headers, MIME type and so on as well as running it through a number of
pluggable anti-virus drivers.
The use case is not really for file system scanning, and obviously
heurirstics scanning is not available as there is no running of said
file (yet, maybe later dynamic analysis may be included but this is a
long term stretched goal). Instead the intended purpose is for
developers of websites, APIs or other applications to scan uploads /
submissions on the fly before publishing them, or you could create a
Swift middleware to scan all files before they are accepted and placed
onto object nodes.
I beleive this could be a useful value add / complimentary project to
the OpenStack eco system, and in anycase would use Keystone for auth and
so on.
As of yet there is no code, I will probably end up recycling some
previous code from a personal project I made last year, however the repo
itself should be created fresh for a new start. I am happy as part of
the first patch to ensure the test stuff as provided by cookiecutter is
included and no mass import of existing code will take place.

As per TC requirements, all channels in the #openstack-* freenode
namespace should be logged via OpenStack Infrastructure.
There seems to be a general consensus (although not total agreement)
that a openstack-deployment IRC channel would be benefecial for
cross-project collaboration between various deployment tool teams.
The channel has already been created and is in limited initial use.
To meet the TC requirements, this review is submitted for logging
purposes.

start logging the channel. It's already co-owned by openstackinfra so
this should be all that's necessary to add logging to the channel.

be renaming the IRC channel. This change is to ensure
all the bots join this new channel before the rename.

can be used elsewhere.

Trio2o is to provide APIs gateway for multiple OpenStack clouds
to act as a single OpenStack cloud.
Trio2o is derived from the Tricircle. Move Nova API-GW/Ciner API-GW
away from the Tricircle into new dedicated Trio2o project, and
only networking automation part will be remained in the Tricircle,
i.e, the Tricircle will noly include local Neutron plugin, central
Neutron plugin, Admin API and XJob. And Trio2o will
includes the Nova API-GW/Cinder API-GW/Tricircle admin API/XJob.
After the moving, the Tricircle project will focus on the networking
automation across Neutron.
The repository will import from the upstream Tricircle repository,
code cleaning will be done after the repo established.
(gerritbot is not configured for it reaches 120 channels limit)

RSC is a controller service for lifecycle management of pooled bare-metal
hardware infrastructure (like Rack Scale Design [1]) which uses Redfish as
one of the management protocols.
This project proposes to create a management service utilizing Redfish APIs
in a form that can be used by Ironic, Nova, Neutron or any other
service/controller within Openstack.
RSC is not an official OpenStack project yet.

Glare (from GLare Artifact REpository) is a service that
provides access to a unified catalog of structured
meta-information as well as related binary data
(these structures are also called 'artifacts').
Glare offers its users a number of important features, like:
* Custom assets — it's not just images anymore, but also Heat
templates, Murano packages, Mistral workbooks, Tacker
blueprints and so on.
* Artifacts versioning — each artifact can be supplemented
with the version in SemVer format.
* Support of multiple binary objects per artifact. From
Glare’s part, it allows to specify a set of such attributes.
* Structured properties — artifacts may contain structured
properties like ‘dict’ and ‘list’.
* Dependencies between artifacts — one artifact may depend on
the other.
* Additional filtering for artifacts with various operators.
* Importing/exporting of artifacts between clouds.

This is a new project, openstack/gluon, focusing on a Model-Driven,
Extensible Framework for L3 Networking Services.
When a telecom service provider needs to provides its customers with
a new L3 Networking Service, the new service is modeled in a YAML file.
Gluon framework generates the new service APIs, including objects,
database schema, and RESTful API endpoints, according its YAML model,
and then the applications can use those APIs to provide the new service.
Thus Gluon helps accelerate time-to-market and bring business agility
through its extensibility and scalability in generating new APIs for
new use cases and new services.

The Neutron FireWall-as-a-Service team is diverging a bit from the rest
of the Neutron team, and will soon be holding a virtual mid-cycle. In
order not to clutter the overall #openstack-neutron channel, and to
serve the FWaaS team as it continues to diverge from Neutron, we would
like the #openstack-fwaas channel logged.

Browbeat can orchestrate multiple performance tools against
an OpenStack Cloud. It also helps users standup infrastructure such
as Collectd/Graphite/Grafana/ElasticSearch/Kibana and many other tools
to monitor performance and health of an OpenStack deployment. Browbeat
also performs performance tests using tools such as Rally, Shaker and
PerfKit.
We do not want to upload to pypi as of yet.

ARA: Ansible Run Analysis makes Ansible Playbook runs easier
to visualize, understand and troubleshoot.
ARA is three things:
- An Ansible callback plugin to record playbook runs into a local or
remote database
- A CLI client to query the database
- A web interface to visualize the database
The project is an initiative of the RDO community to help parse
the results of CI jobs that are driven by Ansible.
More details are available on the openstack-infra mailing list [1]
Please note that there is no launchpad created for this project.
We would prefer skip an eventual migration and integrate with
StoryBoard directly.
