Release notes are version independent, so remove version/release values. We've found that projects now require the service package to be installed in order to build release notes, and this is entirely due to the current convention of pulling in the version information. Release notes should not need installation in order to build, so this unnecessary version setting needs to be removed. This is needed for new release notes publishing, see I56909152975f731a9d2c21b2825b972195e48ee8 and the discussion starting at http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-dev/2017-November/124480.html . OpenStackClient
OpenStackClient (aka OSC) is a command-line client for OpenStack that brings the command set for Compute, Identity, Image, Object Store and Block Storage APIs together in a single shell with a uniform command structure.
The primary goal is to provide a unified shell command structure and a common language to describe operations in OpenStack.

Getting Started
OpenStack Client can be installed from PyPI using pip:
pip install python-openstackclientThere are a few variants on getting help. A list of global options
and supported commands is shown with --help:
openstack --helpThere is also a help command that can be used to get
help text for a specific command:
openstack help
openstack help server createIf you want to make changes to the OpenStackClient for testing and contribution, make any changes and then run:
python setup.py developor:
pip install -e .Configuration
The CLI is configured via environment variables and command-line options as listed in https://docs.openstack.org/python-openstackclient/latest/cli/authentication.html.
Authentication using username/password is most commonly used:
