Manage a pool of nodes for a distributed test infrastructure

Paul Belanger 16d192c60b First ensure ssh connection is valid before scanning keys We have a network appliance we test via nested virt. While the outer node is live and the port we nodescan is open, the nested node is still booting up SSHd. Which causes nodescan to return: paramiko.ssh_exception.SSHException: Error reading SSH protocol banner until SSHd is properly running. Perviously we set out boot-timeout to 5 mins, to allow for the nested SSHd to come online properly. This should restore that functionality. Nodepool

Nodepool is a system for managing test node resources. It supports launching single-use test nodes from cloud providers as well as managing access to pre-defined pre-existing nodes. Nodepool is part of a suite of tools that form a comprehensive test system, including Zuul.

Getting Help

There are two Zuul-related mailing lists:

zuul-announce: A low-traffic announcement-only list to which every Zuul operator or power-user should subscribe.
zuul-discuss: General discussion about Zuul, including questions about how to use it, and future development.
